After making sure there was no more than five mls left, we stuffed it with frozen spinach… which I creatively chopped. This was followed by piercing what was left of the bird with small wooden stakes.
We cooked it, fried it and grilled it; and checked if it was thoroughly heated (we don’t want salmonella now, do we?) Served with a garlic-mustard-chicken stock- lemon juice and some pips-and-left over spinach-sauce and some physically abused beetroots, we’ve had a very interesting meal.
