Utterly unproductive and completely useless
Sunday 09 September 2007 at 3:36 pm. Three weeks of vacation, among which were a four day trip to Lowlands and a four day stay at a spa, did not do it for me. My mind was still preoccupied with all the things that needed to be done... graduate, get a job, start a new study, finish the house or buy a new one, take care of the financials, let my friends know I'm still alive, visit relatives (same reason), eat properly, and more. This week, the introduction-week (at least I've managed to start a new study), did not do it either... so I hoped to short my to-do-list this weekend, to empty my head a little. Instead, I picked up a book (not a study book, not a book to prepare myself for my first day at work, but the latest (and last) Harry Potter) and started reading, all 607 pages in a little over 9 hours. I didn't think of working, of studing, of DIY, of doing anything... I thought of Harry, Hermione and Ron (and a bunch of others). This weekend was utterly unproductive and completely useless, but I haven't felt this relaxed in months.One comment
