At high-school, I had to learn 100 words a week in French, 100 words a week in German and 100 words a week in English. Now, some guy has pointed out that just 100 words comprise 50% of all words used in conversation in a language. So, if you learn these 100 words he states, you'll be able to speak in a foreign language (at a basic level I guess). Just think... if I had learned 100 words in three different languages a week at high school, I would now be able to communicate in over 7000 languages. That's all the languages in the world!

Is this so hard to understand?

For the first times in weeks i'm stuck. I have to wait for e-mails so i can go on with what i need to do (writing an essay, an article and a research proposal). Maybe it's about time to not do something and give my eyes (reading) and head (thinking) and arm (writing) a rest. So for the first time in over half-a-year I'm busy going through sewing-related-magazines, looking for nice cloths... Does feel slightly strange though...

Okay, so i've never come round to writing about my adventures in the US... I've even lost the drafts (although they might be somewhere in the pile of paperwork on my desk). For the past 2 months I've left the world the world and have been busy with lots of other (in my opinion) more important things. Slowly but steadily life is getting back into its swing although i guess it might still take some time. At the moment life's still very hectic though so it might take another while before i'll be able to post something. But just wanted to let you know i'm still up and running

"Holland? The far away kind of Holland you mean?"
