He confirmed it last week: "Yes, you've got a test next Friday." So we studied. We checked our teaching-schedule and our e-mail the day before. Yes, it was still on, and we arrived at the hospital at the crack of day (okay, well, 8am), only to find it deserted. We waited for about an hour. Nobody showed up. We went to the ward. No tutor to be found.

Mmmm... bank-holiday weekend you say?
